Welcome to the Zuni Pueblo reservation as our respected guest. Please be aware that you may not understand or even recognize many aspects of Zuni life, but these are essential practices that enable us to continue our way of life. Your respect for our cultural traditions and cooperation in following the guidelines will ensure the continued privilege of visits to our community.
Though Zuni Pueblo may be unique, it is worth remembering that you are visiting an active community of residents' daily lives, places of work, and culturally significant areas.
The Pueblo of Zuni will not be responsible for any accidents, thefts, damages, or loss of articles incurred by visitors. Violators will be subjected to penalties under Zuni Tribal and Federal laws.

When VISITING, please:
- Check-in at the Visitor's Center to receive key information and an orientation.
- Purchase a photo permit. All cultural activities within the Pueblo are off-limits to photography, video/audio records, or sketches. Publishing any photos or information pertaining to Zuni Pueblo requires permission.
- Observe quietly and respectfully any traditional dances and events. Keep your distance from Zuni participants. Please refrain from applause.
- Do not climb fragile archeological structures or adobe walls. Removal of artifacts/objects from these areas is a Federal offense.
- Hike only in designated areas.
- Respect our community by not using drugs or alcohol and not bringing weapons.
- No pets are allowed in the Middle Village. Children are to be controlled and respectful.
